A home solar system should fit your appliances and routine, not simply the number of bedrooms. We design for essential backup, daytime use and the appliances you want to add later.

A refrigerator, freezer, lights, TV, Wi-Fi, CCTV, laptops and charging are common backup priorities. List the quantity and hours of use for each. A fridge cycles on and off, and its starting demand can be higher than its running power.
A washing machine, iron, pump, kettle, air conditioner or water heater can change the design substantially. Tell us which run together, their ratings and expected operating time. Scheduling heavy loads during solar production can help, but equipment still needs adequate power capacity.
How we size your house
We assess simultaneous demand, daily energy, desired backup time, roof area, shading, existing supply and budget. Then we select compatible inverter and battery equipment and calculate the panel array, mounting and protection.
The 5kVA package provides an approved starting configuration for essential home loads; a 10kVA-class design may suit greater simultaneous demand. Neither is selected solely because a house has three bedrooms.
Comfort when the grid goes off
Correctly configured lithium backup can keep selected circuits running automatically during an interruption. Stored energy must be sufficient for the duration you need. See our power-cut backup questions for practical limits and runtime examples.

Send appliances, quantities, hours of use, location and desired backup time. We prepare an itemised configuration and installation quotation.
Installation, warranty and support across Uganda
Our technical base and physical showroom are in Mbiko near Jinja. We supply and install across Uganda; transport and mobilization depend on the project location. The written quotation confirms equipment, roof mounting, cabling, protection, earthing, installation, testing and commissioning.
Santana Solar provides a 5-year system and installation warranty, subject to applicable equipment and warranty conditions, with local technical and after-sales support. Equipment-only purchases have their own applicable written warranty.
